Cardi B hopped on X (formerly Twitter) Spaces on Monday, Oct. 27th, and delivered what can only be described as peak Cardi: honest, hilarious, and brutally transparent. In her signature drawl, she addressed fans’ growing list of questions about her latest album, future projects, and the constant chatter online. The verdict? No deluxe album, no remix project, and definitely no more overexposure.

“I’m not putting out a deluxe, and I’m not doing a remix album,” she said bluntly. “What I gave you is what y’all getting. However, I want to put out another project — another album — in less than a year.”

That statement alone set off alarms across social media, with fans celebrating the news that the rapper is already planning her next move. But Cardi made it clear she’s doing things on her own timeline.

“I’m gonna give you too much updates and too much things because I don’t want other people to know my business like that,” she said. “You guys been getting a little bit annoying with questions and answers… but because you’ve been doing really amazing promoting my album, I’ma answer some things.”

While fans have been begging for a deluxe version of Am I the Drama?, Cardi seems ready to move forward creatively — and personally. She revealed that her next album will mark a shift in both tone and subject matter.

“I kind of know what I want my next album to sound like,” she explained. “I hope and pray that in the next year, I don’t have to rap about certain things that I rapped about on this album. I want to be in a better space with men
I want a new era, new everything.”

She added that after her tour, she plans to completely reinvent herself: “I want new pictures, new videos, new vibes. After tour, I want a new era. I feel like I’m a new person again.”

Cardi also addressed the chorus of fans asking why there haven’t been more visuals to accompany the project.

“I did two music videos — ‘Imaginary Players’ and ‘Safe,’” she reminded listeners. “But it wouldn’t have made sense to do another because I didn’t know which songs y’all were gonna pick. Who knew y’all were gonna love ‘Every Time’ and ‘Check Please’ and ‘Magnate’? I wouldn’t have known that.”

Still, she assured fans that more visuals are coming — just not immediately. “As soon as I drop the baby, we already have concepts for certain music videos,” she said. “It’s just depending on how everything goes after I give birth.”

She also hinted that being off her feet lately has her doing pley of “meetings all day long” and “talking, talking, talking” about the next phase of her career.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Cardi B, it’s that when she says she’s starting fresh, she means it. “I don’t want to waste time doing a deluxe or a remix album and use the artists that I could use on a new project,” she said. “I just want new everything — new pictures, new videos, new vibes.”

For an artist who’s built a career on raw honesty and fearless reinvention, it’s the perfect setup for her next chapter.
