And with the reputation that the star has built over the years, people are confident in his ability to turn any film into a blockbuster. Thus, the rumor about a reshoot for the upcoming Fast X is positively reported, which has many people speculating about Johnson’s return to the franchise.

With such an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Dwayne Johnson has had the opportunity to make a legacy in his Hollywood career just as he had in his wrestling career. Thus, it’s no surprise that the Baywatch star had been part of some of the most commercially successful film franchises in the world, one of which was none other than The Fast And Furious franchise. And with the recent disappointment he suffered from Black Adam, it seems like he’s here to make corrections.
After The Rock left the franchise in 2017 to make his own spin-off film, there was no sign of him returning to the series, considering there was also bad blood between him and the lead star, Vin Deisel. But with recent rumors surrounding the upcoming Fast X having to go through a couple of reshoots pouring in, and also being confirmed, fans are excited beyond anything.
Many fans are convinced that this reshooting schedule can only mean that The Rock is finally back as Agent Luke Hobbs for the last ride of the franchise.
While the reshoot can be part of anything, people are hoping to catch a glimpse of the Jumanji star for probably the last time in the series.
What To Expect From Fast X?

While the above reshoot rumors might’ve added a little spice to the mix, fans are still unsure about what it will result in the end. What we do know is the fact that the movie is bringing in everything it can to make this last film of the franchise count. From Jason Momoa being introduced as the new villain to bringing in big names like Brie Larson and Alan Rictchson in undisclosed roles, mixed with adrenaline-pumping car chases and action, fans can rest assured that the upcoming film will deliver.
Fast X, in cinemas on 19th May 2023.
