DRAKE fans are convinced that he has been secretly dating Taylor Swift after posting a throwback photo with her.
The rapper sent everyone into a frenzy when he subtly threw a photo of her in his Instagram photo dump.
In a series of five photos, Drake captioned his post, “They too soft to understand the meaning of hard work.”
While most of the photos are of him or his son, the last one is a throwback picture of him and Taylor.
He has his arm around her while she holds onto his arm with both hands.
Taylor’s head is leaning on his arm as well.
The sweet photo appears to be taken in the 1989 era, as Taylor’s hair length is the same as it was then.
The two are subtly smiling with no teeth showing while looking at the camera.
In it, Taylor is wearing a black shirt and Drake has on a jean jacket.
Now, some Drake fans are convinced that the two singers have been secretly dating.
“Is Taylor swift dating drake, what’s happening?” one fan on Twitter wrote.
“Plz tell me drake isn’t dating Taylor swift,” Tweeted another.
“what if Taylor swift and drake been dating all this time,” a third wrote.
Another fan was completely shocked.
Along with a gif of a man looking shocked while holding his phone, they captioned their tweet, “Who was gonna tell me Taylor and Drake are dating!!!”
IS IT A LOVE STORY?
Even though some fans are convinced this post was a way of them saying they are dating, they are not.
Taylor has been in a relationship with actor, Joe Alwyn, since 2016.
The actor told Elle that they keep their relationship private because our “culture is so intrusive” and “something will always be taken” if they share it with the world.
The couple first met back at the 2016 Met Gala.
Taylor has sung about him on four albums now and will most likely continue to when her tenth studio album drops.
As for Drake, he is not currently dating anyone but does have a long history of celebrity girlfriends.
He was seen out on a few dates with model and reality TV star, Johanna Leia, in July 2021.
They had been dating for a few months, but sadly split three months after they were seen out together.
DRAYLOR COLLAB?
Other fans are convinced Drake might be a future collaboration on one of Taylor’s upcoming albums.
Whether it is a rerecord or TS10, no one knows, but the picture might have given some clue.
Because the photo looks like it is 1989 Taylor, the internet thinks he might be a collaborator on a vault track for 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
“Remember there were rumors about drake x taylor swift collab during 1989 era? what if that song is in the vault tracks??” asked one Twitter user.
“Can you imagine the heartbreak that’s about to happen with drake and Taylor swift doing a collab,” said another fan.
Taylor has named dropped the rapper in one of her songs before, so anything is possible.
The pair have been very close for a long time.
