This 1996 Boss Hoss is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a single-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black with red graphics. Equipment includes a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, an electric cooling fan, a Mustang rider’s seat, a passenger pillion, a storage compartment, triple disc brakes, rider footboards, AutoMeter and VDO gauges, alloy wheels, Aldan American adjustable shocks, and a side stand. The bike was acquired by the seller in 2020, and subsequent work included flushing the brake fluid and replacing the front tire, air filter, distributor rotor, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and headlight. This Boss Hoss is now offered with a clean Louisiana title in the seller’s name.
The bike is finished in black with red graphics and bright trim over a black frame. Features include a black Mustang rider’s seat, a passenger pillion, a removable backrest, an 11-gallon fuel tank, a side stand, a storage compartment, footboards, folding passenger foot pegs, and an LED taillight integrated into the rear fender. The teardrop-style headlight was replaced under current ownership. The seller notes that one rear turn signal is missing its visor and that there is corrosion on the radiator overflow tank and swingarm.
Polished alloy 16″ front and 18″ rear wheels wear a 130/90 Michelin Commander III tire up front and a 300/35 Cobra tire out back. The front tire was replaced under current ownership. Suspension consists of a shrouded conventional fork as well as twin Aldan American adjustable shocks mounted to the polished swingarm, which is said to replaced with a wider version under prior ownership. Braking is from dual discs with Wilwood calipers up front and a single version at the rear. The brake fluid was flushed under current ownership.
The chrome handlebar is equipped with chrome switchgear covers, grips, and mirrors as well as braided stainless-steel control cables. A black and chrome tank-top console is flanked by twin fuel-filler caps and houses a replacement AutoMeter 160-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and VDO supplemental gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 4k miles, 500 of which were ridden under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The GM 350ci ZZ3 v8 is equipped with a 650-CFM carburetor with vacuum secondaries, an aluminum radiator, an electric cooling fan, polished valve covers, and a dual exhaust system that exits under the rear of the bike. The seller states the fuel pressure regulator, distributor rotor, and fuel filter were replaced in September 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a single-speed automatic transmission engaged by an electronic switch as well as a drive belt.
A custom key is used to remove body panels on the bike.
