Many Liverpool fans may have noticed the personalised football boots worn by striker Darwin Nunez for much of this season.
Nunez, who is a Nike athlete, has turned to artist Jordan Dawson to customise a black-out pair of boots with the flag of Uruguay in the hopes of impressing on the pitch in his first season at Anfield.

After a big-money move from Benfica to Anfield in the summer, Nunez has had his fair share of struggles on the pitch, but the forward starting to cause havoc amongst opposition defences.
Dawson spoke to TalkSPORT about giving Nunez his boots: “I gave boots to Nunez and he hasn’t stopped scoring after struggling at the start.
“They get given stuff all the time. This is more personal to them. It allows them to express their personality while playing through their boots.
“With Nunez, I went to his house and he kissed the Uruguayan flag. You knew it meant a lot to him. He doesn’t speak great English, it wasn’t easy to communicate, but you could see his face.
“As soon as he was holding them, there was just a shine on his face. Seeing their reaction in person, you just can’t beat it.”
