This season, Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies games have become must-see television.
Their latest matchup on Saturday night saw Dillon Brooks get into Stephen Curry’s face after making a layup in the first quarter itself.

Curry, unlike Draymond Green in the last game between these sides, had no reaction to Brooks getting in his face and simply walked away. Steph knows there is no point engaging with Brooks who is just trying to get under his skin and get a reaction out of him.
Brooks had once remarked that Curry is someone who is mentally strong when he plays against him and this is just another example of that. The rest of the Warriors don’t exactly follow his lead in this situation though, as we have seen with Green and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Brooks gets into it with one of the Warriors at some point later in the game.
Will The Warriors Get Their Long-Awaited Road Win Here?
The Warriors entered this game on a 10-game losing streak on the road, which included a 131-110 loss when these teams met earlier this month. Klay Thompson had backed his team to come out of their five-game road trip with some good momentum, but they’ve lost their first two games and seem headed for defeat here as well, as they are down 71-59 at the half. Thompson and Curry will need to step up if the Warriors are to avoid an 11th straight road loss and win away from home for the first time since January.
The Warriors have slipped to the 7th seed thanks to their recent losses. As things stand, there’s a real chance that we could get a matchup between these teams in the first round of the playoffs and that is something every neutral would want. While the Warriors have repeatedly dismissed the idea that the Grizzlies are a rival, there is no denying that there is a lot of tension on the court when these sides meet.
