Broddick’s story was tragic and very fascinating. The unfortunate dog was being chased by hunting dogs when he fell into a river and became trapped there.
He had various knocks and injuries all over, ears, neck and head. His injured left eye was partially closed. There are no words to describe how hopeless it seemed.
A kind Samaritan arrived at six in the morning and took him to the emergency vet. The doctor started treating Brodick for a spinal block because his herniated discs were causing him a lot of pain and problems.
Although Brodick was an observant and intelligent dog, his odds were stacked against him. The painful days will eventually end.
The bites and cuts on his body were mostly healed and his skin was smooth. He was removed from the wing and given a support belt to guide him. I was eating well, but I was losing weight.
Brodick’s wheelchair has been extensively modified to allow him to breathe fresh air. The parallel gland may be dead and the lining is currently blooming, which is a terrible development.
Brodick’s general condition remained unchanged; he acted officially when he ate, drank and defecated. I had severe cramps the day before. The cause was necrosis, which rapidly accelerated. Despite regular treatment with chymotrypsin, it can spread throughout the body.
Unfortunately, Brodick also had a massive malignant tumor in his spine which had spread to his soft tissues. Blood tests showed the onset of sepsis. Stronger painkillers only provided temporary relief.
Vets debated for several days before deciding to allow Brodick to a place where they were sure he would not feel pain.
“Feathery mists overhead for you, Brodick, my dear.”
