Casemiro angry with Bruno Fernandes after winning Carabao Cup sends title challenge to Arsenal.

Casemiro loves winning so much that he’s even annoyed when it’s not by more goals.

The Brazilian scored the opening goal in Manchester United’s Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle, and later lifted his first trophy in red.

His first half header sent United on course to victory, and was soon added to by a deflected Marcus Rashford shot, but there could have been more.

Late on, Bruno Fernandes had the chance to turn 2-0 into 3-0 when they broke into Newcastle’s half and outnumbered their defence, but after cutting back in onto his left foot, the chance was wasted.

United có thể đã có nhiều hơn nếu Fernandes không đi một mình

The full-time whistle soon blew, and the celebrations began, but Casemiro was still unhappy with his Portuguese teammate for not making the right decision.

Looking frustrated, he pulled Fernandes’ shirt to release him from a hug with Scott McTominay, and then gestured towards the goal.

Fernandes instantly came up with an excuse, while McTominay watched on laughing at their competitiveness.

Fernandes có lý do của mình

Manchester United have proven they can impact the latter stages of the Premier League title race by beating Newcastle to win the Carabao Cup. After a bright start to the game from the Magpies, United scored twice in the space of six first half minutes through Casemiro and Marcus Rashford before putting on an extremely professional second half performance defensively to win the first domestic trophy of the season.

With both teams away from Premier League duties, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham all took advantage by extending their respective gaps between the two teams. United are now eight points off the top and six away from their Manchester rivals, and a four-point gap has now opened between Newcastle and the top four, although they have two games in hand over Tottenham.
