Chris Hemsworth is ending his year on a good (looking) note.
The Australian hunk was spotted spending the day with his family on the beach, which means he was shirtless and looking fine. Even though he made jaws drop by showing off the shocking amount of weight he lost for In the Heart of the Sea, it’s clear he has gained back all his muscle and more, as he appeared toned and, dare we say, perfect.
Even cuter was the fact that he was hanging out with his wife Elsa Pataky, their children and the family dog! While Pataky spent time with the kids on the shore, Hemsworth returned to the sea to boogie board the day away. The Thor star has been spotted flaunting his bulging biceps on other surfing trips, but this time he kept it kid-safe with a miniature board.
We’re not the only ones who can’t take their eyes off the superhero-playing actor, either. As it turns out, Hemsworth has inmates cooing, too! While appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Hemsworth revealed he visited a prison while studying up for his role in Blackhat and was heckled by some of the prisoners. He tried to walk around with a hat to go incognito, but the warden forced him to take it off while inside the building.
“The wardens said ‘You can’t wear your hat,’ and so on, and I said, ‘OK no worries.’ And I thought, ‘Oh s–t, they’re going to know who I am.’ Then I thought, ‘No, they don’t get Thor in here, they’re not going to watch movies,’ and, I don’t know, I’d never been to prison,” he explained. “I assumed that.”
“And the moment I started walking through the cells…I just start getting heckled,” Hemsworth shared. “It’s like, ‘Yo yo, Thor’s here, man. Yo Thor’s here, yo Thor, Thor! Where’s your hammer man?’ And I’m trying to blend in, doing ‘research,’ and I’m just getting heckled left and right. ‘Yo come spend some time in my cell, baby!'”
