There is no bathroom in the wood cabin, but the modern bathhouse is within proximity. The mountain cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen with all of the necessary cooking utensils and dishes.
The vacation hosts provide filters for the coffeemaker, paper towels, and dish detergent, as well as all the required bedding, towels, and firewood to ensure a cozy stay. Additionally, the wood cabin features a wood stove, an old-fashion wood cook stove, a dining table, a two-burner electric hot plate, a microwave, and a fridge. Outside, glampers will have access to a private deck/porch, a woodshed, and a propane barbecue for grilling out and dining al fresco. Columbine Valley. With just 1,300 residents, the small town of Columbine Valley grew from a homeowners’ association started by 17 families in the 1950s. Nearby towns include Littleton and Englewood. Each summer, a concert series is hosted at the town hall, and a Fourth of July 5k and fireworks celebration is held as well. The town is just north of South Platte Park, the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, and the Carson Nature Center, where visitors can fish in five lakes, nature watch, and stroll the trails. Colorado Adventure Park. The Colorado Adventure Park is Fraser’s most exciting tubing hill. They have four different runs ranging from easy to most difficult, so there’s something for everyone. They also have snow scoots which are mini snowmobiles for kids between the ages of 6 and 13. Perfect for kids who are craving a little more than tubing. If you have young kids, there is a mini sledding hill for children under the age of 3 that is free of charge.
Winter Park Adventure Quest. If you are looking for thrilling a safe, Colorado mountain adventure, you’ll want to visit the Winter Park Adventure Quest. Located in Fraser, it is home to a 35-foot-high aerial adventure park, where guests tackle sky-high ninja-style obstacles on a self-guided course. They also offer guided rock climbing tours in the nearby Arapaho National Forest. Both activities are beginner friendly with some height/ability qualifications.
