Not gonna lie, it’s hard to look cute when you’re freezing outside in the snowy weather. But if anyone can do it, it’s Kendall Jenner. Earlier this week, the supermodel posted a photo on Instagram of her galavanting on a horse through the scenic snowy mountains looking like a rugged leather dream. She paired dark leather pants and a cropped jacket with a large scarf and oval-shaped sunglasses. But the accessory I can’t stop obsessing over is her furry black earmuffs.
Fur (or faux fur) earmuffs were a big trend in the late ’90s and early 2000s. With the resurgence of several Y2K trends this year, it only makes sense to bring them back for winter. Luckily, earmuffs are one of the more practical trends from the era — and one of the coziest.
You can copy the look for cheap, too. Amazon sells a pair similar to Kendall’s for less than $15. They come in black faux fur like hers or gray, pink, white and beige. Plus, over 1,500 Amazon reviewers give them a five-star rating, so you can trust that they’re legit.
Kendall is currently in Aspen with her sister Kylie to celebrate the new year, so we may get treated to more winter outfit ideas. In fact, paparazzi spotted Kendall wearing the most incredible pair of fur-covered cowboy boots from R13 — and they immediately sold out.
So while you can’t get the boots, you can get the earmuffs or at least ones that look similar. Thanks for the inspo, Kenny!
