Rory McIlroy is officially a $100 million man.

He joined Tiger Woods in the illustrious club after McIlroy finished T5 at the Texas Children’s Houston Open and won $337,844.

His winnings from Texas put him at $100,046,906 in career earnings and securely in the second-place spot.

Earlier this year, McIlroy surpassed Phil Mickelson on the career earnings list after he won The PLAYERS Championship.

The Northern Irishman already has $9,057,558 in his pocket this season with just five starts.

Woods has held the top spot in career earnings for 25 years and reached the $100 million mark in September 2012, per NBC Sports.

His total is $120,999,166, and he has a $20,952,260 lead on McIlroy.

However, the Big Cat is not playing right now after Woods ruptured his Achilles in March. When he will be back is unknown, giving McIlroy a chance to add to his total.

He could pass Tiger before he turns 40 if McIlroy continues to play at the level he is.

McIlroy is not only player under 40 who could take Tiger’s title away from him.

Scottie Scheffler is the biggest threat. The former Texas Longhorn is already No. 5 on the list with $75,134,784. He made $29,228,357 last year in his historic run.

This year, Scheffler has a little over $3 million, but it is still early.

Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas are the next two players under 40 on that list in the 10th and 11th spots with $63 million and $62 million, respectively.

How close will McIlroy be to Tiger by the Tour Championship in August? If he continues to play as well as he started the season, he could see a big year in earnings.

The PGA Tour has officially broken its silence! The organization has decided to sanction Robert MacIntyre following controversial allegations of cheating and defamation of Scottie Scheffler at the 2025 BMW Championship. This is considered a tough move, sending a clear message that the PGA Tour will not tolerate any behavior that affects the reputation and transparency of the tournament.

PGA CHAOS Erupts! USGA President Mike Whan has finally spoken out, standing by Scottie Scheffler amid the furor at the BMW Championship 2025. In a stunning decision, Whan stressed that “insults and abusive behavior have no place in elite golf,” and fined Robert MacIntyre a hefty sum for publicly humiliating Scheffler — sending shockwaves through the global golfing world.
