As Manchester City star Raheem Sterling approaches a potential transfer to Chelsea, he is in negotiations to sell his £3.1 million Cheshire residence to Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The winger has been discussing his options for moving with fellow Englishman Alexander-Arnold, who is looking to relocate from his current home in south Manchester. Currently, he resides on the same street as Alisson Becker, the former Manchester United teammate of Paul Pogba.
According to The Sunday Mirror, Sterling is considering selling his Cheshire mansion for approximately £4.5 million. This move could potentially earn him a substantial profit of £1.4 million, considering he acquired the property back in 2017, and it could pave the way for his £45 million transfer to Chelsea.
Sterling’s Cheshire mansion, valued at £3.1 million, is now on the market. He currently resides there with his fiancée, property developer Paige Milian, and their two young sons.
Situated in a village near Crewe, the property boasts five luxurious bedrooms adorned with a modern grey color scheme on the walls. It even includes its own wildlife pond in the surrounding marshland.
The property features an annex with an extra bedroom above the garage, complete with an outdoor basketball hoop, and it spans an impressive 7,500 sq ft.
Upon entering the front door, visitors are greeted by a matte black staircase in the hallway, complemented by a grand piano.
Inside their home, the couple has installed a white marble countertop and glossy cabinets in the kitchen, which harmonize with their stone flooring. Stylish red chairs accompany the expansive island.
When Sterling is at home, relaxing away from the football pitch, his lounge offers an unparalleled level of comfort. The living room in his extraordinary home features grey-colored furniture with soft velvet upholstery, a popular choice of interior design among Premier League footballers.
