Vin Diesel will reprise his role as the extreme sports athlete for the first time since the 2002 original film xXx in xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage.

And on Sunday, the 49-year-old action star teased fans with an 11 second video clip from the new flick which he shared on his personal Facebook page ahead of the full trailer debut.

Vin captioned the short teaser video with: ‘It is Awesome.’

In the clip the actor is seen in a series of action clips and crazy stunts which would appear to excite any true fan of the franchise.

The video begins with audio of Vin as Xander saying: ‘Damn it feels good to be back.’

Vin’s Facebook post has already received over three million views and thousands of likes and page shares.

The full trailer will be released by the studio on Tuesday, July 19.

Samuel L. Jackson will return as Agent Augustus Gibbons and will star alongside Orange Is The New Black actress Ruby Rose, who will play the role of Adele Wolff.

The all-star cast also includes Australian actress Toni Collette and The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev.

xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage is scheduled to hit theaters on January 20, 2017.
