5 superheroes in the MCU, despite having good intentions, accidentally create disaster

Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are inherently well-intentioned and purposeful in all their actions. But not all good intentions end well, some have good intentions but instead make the situation more chaotic.

1. Tony created Ultron with the intention of helping the Avengers, but Ultron turned out to be a villain

Ultron is one of Iron Man’s works to protect the world, but the results don’t go as Tony’s plan. Tony’s goal was good when creating Ultron, specifically to protect Earth from dangerous threats, but Ultron himself became a “dangerous threat” because he was too smart.

Turning Ultron into a super-sophisticated AI seems misguided because he’s confused and has his own views on peace. Ultimately, Ultron becomes a villain who wants to destroy humanity.

2. Steve Rogers kept the death of Tony Stark’s parents a secret

The Civil War event when the Avengers were divided was actually a mistake even though they believed they were doing the right thing. One of the reasons for this was that  Steve Rogers kept the reason for Tony Stark’s parents’ death a secret.

At first Rogers says he kept this a secret for Tony’s sake, but by the end of the movie, he knows that what he did was wrong. Instead of protecting Tony, Rogers is protecting himself.

3. Vision sacrificed for Wanda to destroy the Mind Stone but Thanos went back in time

The difference between a hero’s and a villain’s morality is that the hero tries his best to protect someone’s life and life. That’s what the Avengers did when they wanted to protect humanity by sacrificing Vision.

In Infinity War, Vision was hunted by Thanos because he wanted to get the Mind Stone. Therefore, in agreement with the heroes, he was ready to sacrifice himself to protect humanity. He asked Wanda to destroy the wisdom stone (that is, the young girl must kill the person she loves with her own hands).

Unfortunately, this heroic act turned out to be useless. Thanos sent him back in time before Vision died. After defeating Wanda, he obtained the Mind Stone on Vision’s head. The world still loses a hero and faces great danger when Thanos has gathered enough Infinity Stones.

4. Nick Fury keeps Captain Marvel’s condition a secret

Nick Fury has known Captain Marvel since the 90s and the female superhero is the last protector of the earth. But Nick Fury has kept this a secret from many people, even from his relatives in SHIELD and the Avengers.

Obviously, there are  plenty of cases where attacks on Earth could have been resolved more quickly if Captain Marvel had been summoned.

5. Doctor Strange helped Peter, Doctor Trang’s kindness caused harm

In Spider-Man: No Way Home,  Peter Parker sought out Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to erase humanity’s memories because Spider-Man’s identity was revealed causing him too much unwanted trouble. The mistake in using magic of the Supreme Sorcerer made the multiverse connect, a series of villains from the old Spider-Man series came to threaten everyone’s life.

Obviously, it’s good to cast magic to help Peter, but  for one reason or another, it’s Peter who has turned Doctor Strange’s good intentions into disaster.
