On September 22, GRAWP received a report that an elderly dog was chained and not given water or food despite being seriously ill. Despite working in animal rescue for many years, GRAWP has never seen anything like it.
The dog appears to be suffering from bone ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ, but has never been treated, and has lived on a short leash for many years, eating waste and garbage, and due to lack of nutrition and vitamins, it has contracted the disease in a long time.
Veterinarians say that this type of ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ is usually caused by a large lesion and an infection that manifests as a Tᴜᴍᴏʀ; unfortunately, this is correct, as the person reporting this witnessed the dog being brutally beaten by his drunken owner. He tied it up and hid it in his yard for years. It couldn’t move more than two meters because of the short metal chain.
However, when the GRAWP rescue team asked to rescue the boy, the owner refused, saying they could not move “his property”. Therefore, they asked for assistance from the local police. When we left him and went to talk to the police, the dog was almost sobbing. After a few hours we were able to provide the owner with the correct paperwork and he changed his mind. He told us we couldn’t take the dog unless we reported him.
“We agreed because the unlucky dog needs a medical checkup and blood test now. Our boy also required immediate amputation, with fabric samples sent for histology. There is still a long way to go.”
X-rays showed osteosarcoma, a serious type of bone ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ. Fortunately, there were no metastases in his white lung, which suggests that his chances of survival are slim. However, the tumor is growing rapidly and the skin begins to tear due to the rapid growth. It is growing day by day. Jordan has been bathing for a long time to remove distressing circumstances and negative energy from his previous employer.
He needs to get a little better to move to Türkiye. His departure date will be in a few days. Jordan went to Istanbul and was briefly sedated so he could take a full-body X-ray before sᴜʀɢᴇʀʏ. Jordan’s amputation is complete and his tumor-dominated limb is gone. Everything went smoothly.
It’s the third day since Jordan’s amputation. He was a fast learner who immediately started adjusting to his new life, his appetite regained and he enjoyed our food very much. Please continue to wish him a speedy recovery and a very long life ahead. We all love you Jordan…
