In the past, The Babysitter star has opened up about her battle with acne and being positive in her own skin.
During an interview with Vogue in 2019, Bella admitted to the outlet, ‘I don’t like the whole perfection look. That just never works for me.’

Along with trying out various facials and other skin treatments, she revealed that washing her face less had helped her. ‘There’s something called over washing your face, and when I had really bad acne, that was one of the things I stopped, and it actually helped my skin.’
Her struggles with cystic acne have not only been personal, but also involved her professional career as well.
While talking to Pop Sugar’s Pretty Unfiltered in 2016, Bella had revealed, ‘At one point, they said, ‘Maybe you’re not getting hired by directors because all they keep looking at is your skin.’
She also got candid about the ‘stereotypes’ revolving around acne and explained, ‘You go out and people think you’re dirty, that you’re, like, disgusting.’
‘That you must not take care of yourself because you’re uncleanly because you have acne. But really it’s something that everybody f***ing gets!’
The actress has continued to exude confidence in her own skin and has offered inspiration to others.
Earlier this month, she jumped to her Instagram stories to share additional unfiltered, make-up free selfies to her fans and followers. In one snap, she added the caption, ‘skin skin skin LETS GO NO MAKEUP’ towards the bottom of the photo as she confidently showed off her glowing skin.
While posing inside of a vehicle, she quickly took another close-up selfie and typed out, ‘SKIN SKIN.’
In regards to growing confidence over the years, the former Disney channel star told Ok! Magazine in 2021, ‘Being real and showing off my imperfections gave me the confidence I have now.’
‘I didn’t have to sit there and look at an edited photo of myself and be like, ‘Oh, this is what you could look like.’ Rather, posting an unedited photo of me, I can see myself for all my natural beauty and be thankful for it,’ she gushed.
