Actress Angelina Jolie attended the Homecoming event at Spelman College in Atlanta – where her adopted daughter Zahara is a freshman.

The ‘Eternals’ star beamed with her 17-year-old daughter on the university campus on October 22. She visited her daughter on the occasion of the school day last weekend.

A student posted a photo with the actress’ mother and daughter with the caption: ‘Angelina Jolie was just walking in the schoolyard with her daughter at the Homecoming event’.

Angelina happily took pictures with everyone. She wears simple clothes, light makeup when visiting her daughter.

Since Zahara went to college away from home, Angelina Jolie has visited several times. When seeing her daughter off to school and into the dormitory in August, the actress almost cried because she was emotional and missed her child. ‘I would cry if I talked about today. But hopefully I will hold back,’ Jolie confided.

Angelina is proud when her adopted daughter enters Spelman College – one of the most prestigious art schools with the longest history for people of color. ‘Mrs Smith’ shared on Instagram: ‘Feeling very special and honored to have a family member who is a Spelman schoolgirl.Actor Brad Pitt – Zahara’s adoptive father – also once expressed pride in his daughter. In an interview with Vanity Fair , Brad confided: ‘She’s very smart. Zahara will shine even more when entering university. It was a great time for her to find her own path, interests and goals. Time flies so fast, doesn’t it? The kids grow up so fast. Thinking about that brings tears to my eyes.
