In the new clip posted to the official TikTok account, the “thank you, next” vocalist expressed: “I don’t do this often. I don’t like it and I’m not good at it either. But I just wanted to respond to your concerns about my body and chat a little bit about what it means to be someone whose body is being scrutinized and given so much attention.” Accordingly, the female singer believes that people should be “softer”,  “less impartial” when commenting on another person’s body, even if it is really well-intentioned.

Appearing with a somewhat thinner body than before, Ariana Grande has received disparaging comments.

Instead of just focusing on looks, Ariana believes there are still ways to compliment someone, or simply keep yourself from just criticizing someone else’s body. Besides, she still emphasized, “There are many different types of beauty. There are different ways to look healthy and beautiful.” 

Speaking of which, the singer revealed that the previous appearance that fans thought was healthier than convenient, was actually the period when she was not at her healthiest: “When I looked like how you thought I was ‘healthy’. ‘, I’m on a lot of antidepressants, drinking a lot, eating poorly and at the worst time of my life. In fact, that’s not my healthy state.”
