Jennifer Lawrence had the crowd buzzing when she arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival in Downtown New York City on Saturday.
She was there to take part in the Tribeca Talks: Directors Series with David O. Russell, whom she has frequently collaborated with.
The actress, 28, glowed on the red carpet both solo and when she reunited with the Silver Linings Playbook writer/director and the film’s co-star Robert De Niro.
As always, Lawrence showed off her outgoing and perky personality when she arrived for the event.
Excited fans swarmed to get close to the star in hopes of getting a picture.
Looking youthful in black high waisted pant with suspenders and an off-white vest, Lawrence stopped to greet some of the people outside the studio and sign a number of autographs.
The Kentucky native looked glamorous with her blonde tresses styled straight and long with a part in the middle.
Eventually The Hunger Games star had to be ushered to a side door and into the studio by security and her reps.
Most recently, Lawrence played the role of Raven Darkholme/Mystique in the upcoming superhero film Dark Phoenix, which is based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men characters.
It is the twelfth installment in the Z-Men film series and a direct sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse.
Other stars include James McAvoy, MIchael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Jessica Chastain, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexander Shipp and Evan Peters.
Dark Phoenix is set to be released in the US June 7, 2019.
Lawrence sat down for a conversation with Russell, whom she has worked with on three hit films: Silver Linings Playbook (2012), American Hustle (2013) and Joy (2015)
