On April 21, Touring Data reported that BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR” became the highest-grossing tour by a female group in history, surpassing legendary girl groups Spice Girls, TLC, and Destiny’s Child (All this despite the fact that this world tour is not over yet).
BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR” has accomplished an impressive milestone by selling approximately 366,000 tickets in their first 26 shows, generating a staggering 78.5 million USD in revenue. With over 30 shows remaining in the coming months, including performances at massive 50,000 to 80,000-seat venues in North America like MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the total grosses are anticipated to soar even higher.
Thanks to their effort, talent, and perseverance over the years, BLACKPINK have been able to compete against great pop artists and musical legends, often achieving unprecedented records in the history of Kpop, and now this new record reached by the superstar quartet has once again left South Korea on top.
