Sport said Messi and his family appeared quite discreet. His appearance at Barcelona fueled speculation about the possibility of M10’s reunion with the Nou Camp team this summer.
Messi’s contract with PSG will expire in June, but the European media does not know the player’s new destination. The Argentine superstar also received many lucrative offers, including giants from Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona recently spoke to Messi’s father. In a statement in early April, president Joan Laporta expressed confidence about the Argentina star’s return. However, this is not easy when the proposed Barca contract for Messi is said to have a lower value in the past.
Barca must also raise £178m before signing new players in the next transfer window as La Liga is keeping a close eye on the club’s financial situation.
Barcelona are expected to continue negotiations with Messi’s representatives over the next week to try to reach agreements. According to the Mirror, PSG is ready to let Messi go to create conditions for the development of young French talents.
