Cardi B told fans that she won’t be picking on BIA’s album sales during a recent X Spaces event. The Bronx rapper clarified her stance while discussing bullies, saying, “I don’t pick on bi—es. I don’t wake up every single day like, ‘I’mma pick on this girl ‘cause I can. I just found out BIA’s numbers yesterday. I’m not going to pick on her ‘cause of that sh–. Then that’s overkill.”

The two have had a back-and-forth since about 2024, when fans felt that BIA had taken a jab at Cardi in a remix. BIA later explained in an interview that she chose not to respond to Cardi’s diss track “Pretty & Petty” to ensure her debut album, BIANCA, wasn’t overshadowed by drama. “If I was to ever address it again, I would never attach it to my album, because this is a beautiful body of work that I believe in,” BIA stated. “I wouldn’t want to disservice this and overshadow it with noise or negativity.”
BIA’s debut album BIANCA was released on October 10 and reportedly failed to make it onto the Billboard 200 chart, earning only 3,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
