LA lifestyle: Adele claims she moved to Los Angeles because she ‘couldn’t afford’ London house prices – despite boasting a net worth of £130 MILLION
… But can’t buy a house in London
In 2021, global superstar Adele admitted property prices in her hometown of London were giving her a hard time. Adele has revealed she moved to Los Angeles because she “can’t afford” to buy property in London. “The kind of house I have in LA I could never buy in London. The price of this house is in the hundreds of millions of pounds, I don’t have that much money,” Adele said.
Answering the first interview after 5 years, the singer openly commented on real estate prices in her homeland. Discussing her decision to move, the singer revealed that she wants to improve her quality of life. “Most of the time I’m in the car or in a building,” says Adele. “I want some fresh air and somewhere I can see the sky.”

However, this makes social network users skeptical, since their income is not small.
‘Adele can’t afford a house in London? So what do we do?” tweeted one Twitter user.
“She owns three houses in LA totaling $30 million but can’t buy property in London?” asked another.
