Selena Gomez was forced to reiterate her lupus diagnosis after her social media followers pointed out how her hands were ‘shaking’ in a recent clip.
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter shared a clip to TikTok earlier this month where she showed off her makeup and skincare routine.
At one point in the video, the Only Murders in the Building star tried to apply micellar water to a sponge but her hands appeared unsteady.
Gomez later clarified that the shakiness was indeed a side effect brought on by her lupus medication.

‘Lol I shake because of my medication for lupus,’ she wrote in the comments of a now deleted clip a fellow TikTok user posted.

The Calm Down singer was diagnosed with lupus back in 2014.
According to the Mayo Clinic, lupus ‘occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs (autoimmune disease).
Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.’
Gomez was forced to undergo a kidney transplant in 2017 because of the disease.

She was spotted filming a scene on Thursday with Paul Rudd who is reprising his role as Broadway actor Ben Glenroy for season three of the Hulu hit after he made a cameo appearance in the season two finale.
Selena has been stoking excitement for season three of the critically-acclaimed who-done-it, posting a cryptic Instagram picture earlier this week.
She also shared a black-and-white photo earlier this month that showed her sitting on a couch with her illustrious co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.
Rudd was also featured in the picture, and so was legendary actress Meryl Streep.
