Mahomes is currently on the books at international sports brand Adidas and launched his own sneaker collection last month. Mahomes revealed that the shoes were inspired by his daughter Sterling, posted a photo last month of himself wearing the sneakers with the caption: “For Sterling Skye My latest colorway “Family Time” drops today for Sterling’s birthday”.
The NFL star and Adidas have now released a new color shoe for the collection called the Mahomes 1 Royal Blue. The quarterback announced the news via his Instagram: “Royal Blue 80 A new season starts today on the other side of the parking lot. Mahomes 1 “Blue 80″ colorway out now. Available on IG Shopping and adidas.com @adidasFBallUS .”
The sneakers having been specifically designed for the needs of NFL players. The shape has been moulded to accommodate the foot like a sock, and has a compact and comfortable sole to aid running and allow for sudden changes of direction. They promise to turn you into the next Patrick Mahomes.
The trendy trainers don’t come cheap, though. Fans will have to cough up $140 if they want to get their hands on a pair.
