They say your toughest critics are the ones closest to you, and for the Kardashian-Jenner family that couldn’t be more true.
Back in 2018, Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian all took to Tokyo for an impromptu Yeezy photoshoot, leading to Kim delivering a savage takedown of her sister’s Shibuya-meets-wannabe-Geisha fashion. “You look like f–king clowns,” Kim said to Khloé and Kourtney, who were decked out in a bubblegum pink faux fur shawl and two-toned body-con dress and a problematic oriental bandeau and PVC vinyl pants, respectively.
But now, it seems that the Skims founder should be eating her own words, returning to Tokyo with her daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5, in an outfit almost identical to the one she chastised Khloé for wearing. We guess time heals all wounds, but if we were Khloé we’d be salty for this.
Taking to Instagram to show of her mother-daughter Hello Kitty inspired looks, Kim posed in a slouchy pair of gray tracksuit pants, a gray crop top and silver Balenciaga sunglasses. She topped her look off with a Barbie-core inspired pink knee-length duster and a matching pink top handle purse. Coincidence? We think not.

Acknowledging the awkward moment, which could be inferred that Kim herself is now “looking like a f–king clown,” the reality mogul included in her IG dump a snipped from that viral KUWTK scene and a Tweet from a fan that read: “Well, well, well @KimKardashian apologise now!! “Model Winnie Harlow even weighted in on the hilarious interaction, writing “if “before y’all say it!!!!” was post 😂😂😂”.

Of course, this isn’t the only drama that Tokyo has played host to this month. As you’ll recall it was a backstreet of the Japanese city where EmRata and Harry Styles were caught kissing. We wonder if Kim is taking a leaf out of Emily’s book and planning her own romantic rendezvous while she’s in town. Time will tell…
