She’s filed a trademark for the name Atelier Jolie.
Angelina Jolie, the famous Hollywood actress, is expanding her business endeavors by launching her own clothing and jewelry brand. The news has been met with excitement and anticipation from both fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Jolie has long been known for her impeccable sense of style, often making headlines for her stunning red carpet appearances. With her new venture, she hopes to share her love for fashion with the world.
Details about the brand are still scarce, but it’s expected to reflect Jolie’s personal style, which is often described as elegant and timeless.
For now, there’s no word on when Angelina plans to launch the line, but the source insists the plan is in motion, saying, “The plan is still very much in its infancy but the wheels are in motion.”
The actress has previously spoken about her love for sustainable fashion. “I invest in quality pieces and then just wear them to death,” she told Vogue in 2021, explaining why she loves to re-wear pieces on the red carpet.
“Boots, a favourite coat, a favourite purse, I don’t change things often, you know?” she continued. “That’s one of my things. Enjoying your vintage pieces, if you have them, and rediscovering some vintage shops seems like part of the way forward.”
This may be Angelina’s first time branching into the fashion industry, but it wouldn’t be her first time launching a business. The actress previously owned a winery with her long-time partner Brad Pitt. However, she sold her shares following their divorce, which resulted in a years-long legal battles that’s still ongoing.
In fact, Angelina is currently named in a lawsuit launched by Brad in which he accused her of selling her shares to a Russian businessman, Yuri Shefler, in an effort to harm his reputation.
“Jolie consummated the purported sale without Pitt’s knowledge, denying Pitt the consent right she owed him and the right of first refusal her business entity owed his,” court documents state.
“She sold her interest with the knowledge and intention that Shefler and his affiliates would seek to control the business to which Pitt had devoted himself and to undermine Pitt’s investment in Miraval,” it continued.
Brad’s lawsuit claims Angelina “sough to inflict harm” on Brad’s reputation. The exes are continuing to fight over the case.
