UFC superstar Conor McGregor has revealed that he personally pays for an armed guard to hide outside his children’s US school, as protection against shooters.
Three children and three adults were killed by a transgender shooter at The Covenant School in Tennessee on Monday, who was armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun.
Three of the victims – Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney – were all aged nine.
In the wake of the heinous crime, McGregor took to Twitter in a now-deleted string of messages, urging the US Government to make armed guards a permanent fixture at every school in America, and revealing the news about his own employees.
‘Just got an “Amber alert” to my phone while here in Orlando,’ he began. ‘A smart and quick set up that alerts everyone there is a child missing and with full description and detail also. Very smart. I would like to see armed protection at each school also.

‘If she shot her way in to that school from the outside, my guard, who is tucked away, armed and unseen, would have seen her and taken her down. Saving those children’s lives.
‘May God and his best people on this earth protect our children!’
Nashville shooter Audrey Hale shot through a locked glass door at 10:13am on Monday.
The 28-year-old transgender individual, who was a former student at the school, was then shot and killed after firing at officers who were responding to the incident.
Police are investigating possible motives for the attack.

MNPD Police Chief John Drake said that ‘resentment’ towards having been made to go to the school may have played a role in the shooting, but also that Hale ‘targeted random students in the school… whoever she came in contact with, she fired rounds.’
Drake added that officials believe ‘that [Hale] identifies as trans, but we’re still in the initial investigation into all of that and if it actually played a role into this incident.’
In addition to the three nine-year-olds, the Head of School, 60, a custodian and a substitute teacher, both 61, were also killed.
They were later named as Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill.
The Nashville school shooting
The shooting occurred at the Covenant school in Nashville. The shooter was Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old biological woman, who identified as a transgender man.
In the wake of her wrath, Hale left six bodies, which were recovered by the authorities. Three children between the ages of six and 12 were killed, along with three adults.
Hale reportedly carried two assault-style weapons and a nine mm pistol with her when she entered the premises of the school. It was a tragic day for the nation and to a certain extent people all across the globe.
