Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says he is excited to watch Alejandro Garnacho play and compares him to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Alejandro Garnacho has struck four goals and provided four assists in his first full season as a Manchester United player, with only four Premier League starts so far.
The Argentine forward is currently out with an ankle injury, but could make his return before the end of the season.
Scholes has explained in an interview with Webby & O’Neill that he regards Garnacho as a superstar in the making.

Scholes has explained that Garnacho reminds him of a teammate they both shared, Cristiano Ronaldo.
He said: “I’m really excited about him. Whenever I see him I’m impressed. He’s a superstar in the making.
“He’s so brave in possession. He’s very much the way Cristiano was as a young player. He doesn’t mind being kicked, he gets up, he goes for more he scores goals.
“He’s got a lot of growing to do and once he gets a manly body and physical strength, I don’t think there’s much stopping him.”
Garnacho was called into the Argentina squad for the recent international break before his injury against Southampton forced his withdrawal. But this will merely delay his eventual call-up.
The winger is still only 18, offering glimpses of his potential so far this season. There is so much more to come.
Garnacho’s first goal for United came from a Cristiano Ronaldo assist earlier in the campaign, away at Real Sociedad.
Scholes can be hard to impress, he doesn’t hold back as a pundit. But when it comes to Garnacho, his mind is made up in a very positive way already.
