The Marseille coach, the Croatian Igor Tudor, made some controversial statements against Lionel Messi and applauded Kylian Mbappe, in an interview in L’Èquipe. He drew attention to what he said about Mbappé and his impact on the Parisian team: “Kylian is the best in the world and the team is nothing like him when he is there than when he is not.”
In addition, Tudor also spoke of other PSG stars, but nothing comparable to the level offered by Kylian: “I have immense respect for Leo Messi, who for me is the best player in the history of football. Neymar is also very good, but Mbappé is the best”.
The coach of PSG’s biggest rival in France does not forget Kylian’s display at the Velodrome against Olympique de Marseille, with a double and an assist: “When he wasn’t there, we beat them (2-1, in the round of 16 of the French Cup).
