Mother-of-two Kylie Jenner has bravely opened up about suffering from postpartum depression after giving birth to her daughter Stormi in 2018 and son Aire last year
Kylie Jenner has spoken candidly about suffering from “painful” postpartum depression and offered advice to other women who may struggle.
The Kardashians star admitted she experienced the condition twice, the first time after giving birth to her daughter Stormi in 2018 and then again after welcoming her son Aire last year.
Kylie described the first time as being “very difficult”, but said the second was “more manageable”.
Offering advice to others, she said: “I would tell those women not to over-think things and to live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest. Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful.
“I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true.”

Kylie said the emotions experienced after giving birth are “much, much more powerful and bigger than you”.
“My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath. The risk is to miss all the most beautiful things of motherhood as well,” Kylie told Vanity Fair Italy.
The mum-of-two also said she really enjoyed being in the hospital with her newborn babies and holding an “unknown creature in my arms”.
She said these moments are all about building a bond with your child.

Kylie also described bringing her children home as “magical” and “the most beautiful moment”.
Kylie shares her two children with rapper Travis Scott and has opened up about her postpartum struggles in the past.
In an episode of her family’s Hulu reality show, the makeup mogul told her sister Kendall Jenner that she had cried for three weeks straight after having her second baby.
“I would be laying in bed and my head would just hurt so bad,” she said, adding: “It’s been really hard.”
Kylie referred to her feelings as “baby blues” in a confessional, stating that she “started to feel better” after six weeks.
When Stormi was born, Kylie also spoke to sister Kim Kardashian about feeling “insecure” when looking at the changes in her post-baby body.
The reality star later explained to her Instagram followers that she had placed too much “pressure” on herself to bounce back after giving birth.
