Italo Nascimento Fernandes and his wife were going ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to their home when they stumbled upon an intriguing sight. A big snake, possibly an anaconda, was on the side of the road in front of them and appeared to be trying a perilous crossing. Fernandes was conscious of the need for assistance.
According to Fernandes, they made the decision to halt and get out of the car. She couldn’t cross the street since there were no signs telling the cars to stop. He had witnessed snakes being run over on highways before and believed it to be wrong.
Fernandes began flashing the red light at approaching cars to divert their attention away from the enormous snake, but he wasn’t acting alone. He claimed that many others arrived right away and provided assistance.
Fernandes observed that it was lovely. The snake then slithered away and vanished into the underbrush. The team’s efforts that day were appreciated by biologist Flavio Terassini. He revealed the snake’s age to G1 Globo in an interview, saying it was around ten years old. The snake is fortunate to have survived in a region where there are many car ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛs. He claimed that numerous people had successfully stopped traffic to prevent it from being ran over.
