SINGER Taylor Swift’s cat is worth £81million, according to a list of the world’s richest pets.
Olivia Benson, a Scottish Fold, has racked up millions of social media likes and starred in the video for Taylor’s hit Blank Space.
One picture of the pampered kitty on 33-year-old Taylor’s Instagram from April 2020 received more than two million likes.
The moggie was adopted by Taylor — who starred in the 2019 film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats — and named after a character on Law & Order.
Taylor has two other cats — another Scottish Fold called Meredith Grey and a Ragdoll called Benjamin Button.
Olivia came third in a list of the world’s wealthiest pets compiled by All About Cats.
First was a German shepherd called Gunther VI.
He is owned by Italian media firm Gunther Corporation and is said to be worth £420million.
Another cat — an Instagram star called Nala — is second wealthiest, worth £84million.
In joint fourth place on the rich list were the five dogs of Oprah Winfrey – Sadie, Sunny, Lauren, Layla and Luke – worth £25million.
An internet-famous Pomeranian called Jiffpom was placed fifth, worth £21million thanks to his 9.5 million Instagram followers.
Moggie Choupette, owned by the late Karl Lagerfeld, was sixth on £11million and the late Golden Girls actress Betty White’s dog Pontiac came seventh with £4.2million.
All About Cats analysed the Instagram pages of pets with the most followers, likes and engagement rates to estimate how much they could make per post and their total worth.
The site said of Taylor’s cat: “The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos.
“She has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers,”
