The fourth Asian elephant to be born at the zoo since 1986 was Brazos, who was born on October 21. He was observed opening his lips and shaking his trunk when a wash of bubbles approached him; he then quickly chased them away. He was also spotted standing in front of a bubble machine with his lips open, trying to swallow bubbles that were coming at him.
