Conor McGregor’s comeback to the sport with the 31st season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ has been a sensation. Since his return, he has been captivating attention with his appearance, drawing all eyes towards him. McGregor’s presence in the limelight has been nothing short of mesmerizing.
During his time away from the octagon, ‘The Notorious’ put on some serious muscle. And now, as he returns to the sport, all eyes are on his comeback fight penciled against Michael Chandler after the conclusion of TUF 31. Moreover, the two have officially wrapped up the shooting for the UFC reality show, and the focus shifts to their matchup now. McGregor recently confirmed that his comeback fight will be at 170 lbs, and while he’s been looking giant lately, recent pictures shared by the 34-year-old UFC icon have got the fight fans talking about his appearance yet again, but this time for a different reason.
Conor McGregor gets the fans talking over his return
McGregor’s every move is closely scrutinized, as a byproduct of him being the UFC’s biggest star. Nevertheless, the Irishman recently shared pictures of himself on social media, donning a suit that was complimented by a luxurious piece of jewelry and an expensive timepiece. However, despite the bling, fight fans were more focused on an important aspect of the photos – the appearance of ‘The Notorious’ and the change in his body ahead of his much-anticipated return.

His recent pictures have left no doubt that he’s in fighting shape and ready to take on all comers. However, there is one roadblock, and a rather significant one, that looms as a threat to McGregor’s highly anticipated return.
His tussle with USADA will perhaps play a role in delaying his comeback fight. And the anti-doping agency is in no mood to bargain.
USADA is not granting an easy pass for ‘The Notorious’
With his sights fixed firmly on his comeback fight against Michael Chandler, Conor McGregor is sparing no effort in his preparation. However, in his pursuit of getting relief from USADA’s 6-month test period, the Irishman went rogue against the organization.
Unfortunately for McGregor, the anti-doping agency has now released an official statement, reaffirming its stance on the matter, effectively putting a stop to any hopes of an exemption.

The USADA has made it clear that there is no room for negotiation, and McGregor will have to toe the line if he wants to get back in the game. Moreover, it also states that McGregor is yet to enroll himself in the USADA pool. This puts the Irishman’s scheduled comeback in jeopardy. It remains to see how things unfold from here on.
