Bubbles the elephant and Bella the Labrador have become friends while swimming at South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach Safari. Are there viral videos of dogs and cats playing? Please.
This isn’t YouTube kindergarten; you’ve made it to the big leagues. Canines and monkeys? What about dogs and bears? Closer. However, the most popular interspecies relationship these days is between dogs and elephants!
Consider the elephant Bubbles and the Labrador Bella. The amigos live in South Carolina near Myrtle Beach Safari. Bubbles, a four-ton African elephant, was adopted in 1983 when her family was murdered by ivory poachers.
Bubbles met the Lab in 2007, when “a contractor hired to build Bubbles a swimming pool abandoned Bella as a puppy in The Preserve,” according to the video.
It goes on, “The pool, and then the river provided these two with the chance to communicate in a way that resulted in a strong and lasting bond. [Their bond] grew out of their mutual love of water…
Today, they are nearly inseparable.” This is clear in this video of the couple playing, with Bella climbing up on Bubbles’ back and plunging into the water to retrieve a ball. Go ahead and watch it nine billion times, or until your heart bursts from the sweetness.
Bubbles and Bella aren’t alone in their interspecies friendship. A humorous YouTube video of an elephant attempting to befriend a puppy appeared just the other day.
Unfortunately, the elephant chose the world’s sleepy dog. “An elephant, a human, and a rooster are competing against one other to wake up a dog. As you can see, it wasn’t a huge success “The video description explains everything. “However, this newborn elephant was really intrigued and determined to play with this puppy.” And one of the most well-known elephant-dog friendships was that of Bella and her elephant bestie Tara, who ate and played together.
Tara waited patiently outside the sanctuary office once, when Bella was wounded and had to spend three weeks recovering indoors until the two were joyously reunited. Because it’s adorable, and perhaps tigers and puppies will replace elephants and dogs.
