This bird is part of the Aegithalidae family which was discovered in 1873, so these birds have been around for a while. These birds started to drop off and their population decreased between 2005 and 2007, but they have been seen a lot more now which gives hope that the species is thriving.

The scientific name of this bird is Leptopoecile sophiae or sometimes this bird is called the white-browed tit-warbler. This bird can be found in the boreal forests of Russia, China, and India.
This is a stand-out bird because of the colors it has. It is violet and blue in color with white eyebrows and a pink belly.
The male is most striking.
The males can weigh between 6 and 8 grams while being no more than 10cm.
These birds travel in pairs.
Typically during the breeding season these birds can be spotted traveling and living in pairs. Once the breeding season is over, they typically stay in flocks of up to 25 birds.
