The veteran guard is dealing with an illness.
Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso will miss Wednesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Per the Bulls’ injury report, Caruso has been ruled out due to an illness.
The Bulls could have used Caruso against the Kings and their best player, point guard De’Aaron Fox. Instead, Chicago will be missing its best wing defender, which is a cause for concern as every game from here on out is paramount for the team.
The Bulls currently own a 31-36 record and are the Eastern Conference’s 10th seed, the last spot in the play-in tournament. Caruso will undoubtedly be missed as the Bulls take on the second-place team in the Western Conference.
On the season, Alex Caruso has appeared in 57 games. He is averaging 5.6 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 3.1 APG, and 1.6 SPG. Chicago could use a big game from Ayo Dosunmu in Caruso’s absence.
Tip-off between the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings is at 7 PM CT and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago.
