Mariam Nabatanzi, a wOᴍᴀɴ from Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ who went by the moniker of Africa, ignited the internet and became well-known for having 44 children at the age of 40, all from the same ᴍᴀɴ.

She is known as Mama Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ, the most fertile lady on earth, and is a native of Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ in East Africa.

She has 22 boys and 16 girls, with the most recent birth taking place in December 2016. The mother of 44 kids is a single mother who takes care of her kids on her alone after her husband ran away from their family and took all of their money.

It’s notable that the mother gave birth to so ᴍᴀɴy kids without any kind of special medical attention. Due to her excessive fertility, physicians warned Mama Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ that she could have too ᴍᴀɴy children, and that if she stopped having children, her body might have problems.

Mama Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ’s parents arranged for her to get married when she was only 12 years old, and she gave birth to her first child at the age of 13. She initially only had one child, but went on to have ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ, Tʀɪᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ, and Qᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ on four different occasions (5 times).

In a video of her house that Explorer Joe Hattab uploaded to the internet on his Facebook page, Mama Uɢᴀɴᴅᴀ said that her husband left her and took the money. It is ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ that only 38 of the 44 children she gave birth to are still with us, while six of them have ᴘᴀssᴇᴅ ᴀᴡᴀʏ.

As a professional hairstylist and event decorator who also crafts various herbal ᴍᴇᴅɪᴄɪɴᴇs, Mariam works day and night. She works tirelessly to provide for her children by soliciting donations and other sources of income.
