Archaeologists have uncovered 51 strange bones at an ancient cemetery in Hungary. All of these skeletons had extended skulls, which was unusual for the population of this region. These elongated skulls were studied, and it was discovered that these people lived in the fifth century CE.
Mözs-Icsei-dl is the name of this old cemetery. All 51 of these skeletons had an unnaturally enlarged head, most likely from bandage wrappings.
Because of this detail, this cemetery has the highest concentration of this occurrence in Europe.
Although experts generally assume it was employed to convey some form of social rank, we must also examine the possibility that these individuals wished to resemble higher beings.
