As Jurgen Klopp works to improve his team’s performance, Liverpool great Jamie Carragher says he would “replace everyone else at the football club before Klopp.”

The Reds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Wolves on Saturday to leave them 10th in the Premier League table with just eight wins from their first 20 matches.
Klopp’s side are nowhere near the title race and facing a real struggle to return to European places of any kind, never mind the Champions League.
Questions have been asked about Klopp’s future, as he endures his worst campaign since joining Liverpool in 2015, but Carragher says he is very much still the man for the job.
However, the former England defender does not think the squad is up to scratch and his old club could need up to five new signings in the summer to return to their title-challenging form.
‘I would change everyone else at that football club before I change Jurgen Klopp,’ Carragher told Sky Sports.
‘When he first came in, Liverpool were sixth or seventh in the league and to get where Liverpool have been the last few years, he’s proved he can do that. I’d like to see him do that again, I’m sure he will.
‘If you’re talking about a change of manager, any manager coming into Liverpool would need to rebuild.
‘I don’t think it’s a case of just buying one player. People keep talking about bringing Jude Bellingham in.
‘The longer it goes, it feels like it’s bigger than one or two players, it might need to be four or five that need to come in.’
‘You can question Jurgen Klopp in terms of how’s it got to this? He’s part of that, the management of the group. But the recruitment team, how’s it gone from almost winning four trophies last season to being 10th in the league?
‘There’s a lot of questions that need to be asked and answers to be found, but the start of next season, I don’t think there’s anyone any Liverpool supporter would rather have in that dugout than Jurgen Klopp.’

Klopp is under no illusions of the problems at the club, although he has not at all been helped by a lot of injuries so far this season.
He made his feelings clear after defeat to Wolves this weekend, knowing there is a huge Merseyside derby coming up next for his side.
‘We have to change it immediately in the next game. Everton won today and they are in a good moment so we have to prove a point again,’ Klopp said after the loss at Molineux.
‘For the moment, I’m so disappointed and angry about the first 15 minutes, I can’t find the words for it. Then we have chances we should score.
‘It could have been 2-1 and that would have changed everything I’m sure. Wolves deserve the three points. How long do we want to suffer?’
