One Piece is one of the most loved anime to date and has bragging rights to being one of the longest-running shows in the business. Pirates scour the ocean searching for treasure, although these adventurers run the risk of being hunted down by the government and the Marines they command. In many cases, the World Government soldiers can handle any number of pirate crews on the ocean. However, there are a few exceptions.
Outstanding pirates whose reputations have spread across the world have bounties placed for these criminals’ imminent capture or death. Bounties are ranked according to power and notoriety, which is why the highest-ranked characters are considered the most ruthless and dangerous pirates in the world. Who has the highest bounty in One Piece?
With One Piece approaching its end, some of the highest bounties in the series have already been revealed to the fans. What’s more, the new generation is making their move and, with the conclusion of the Wano country arc, One Piece has revealed some massive bounties. While some of them don’t see much of an increase, others are absolutely massive. While this list already covers the highest bounties in One Piece, we’ve updated it with the current highest figures.
23. Charlotte Perospero: 700,000,000 Berries
An army does not consist of just one person, a fact Big Mom seems to understand. The Big Mom Pirates have a wide range of powerful members, all of which work to appease the group’s titular leader. Although he hardly has the highest bounty in the crew, Charlotte Perospero is nevertheless extremely dangerous, with his Pero Pero no Mi Devil Fruit providing him the ability to create and control candy.
Perospero has a boisterous and vindictive nature, although the pirate is by no means completely deplorable. Perospero does seem to genuinely care about the people living within Big Mom’s nation.
22. Charlotte Cracker: 860,000,000 Berries
Sticking with the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Cracker was chosen by his captain to face Luffy in the Seducing Woods. One of the crew’s Three Sweet Commanders, Cracker’s Devil Fruit centers around biscuits, and this ability is far more threatening than it sounds.
Cracker can create biscuit soldiers to overwhelm his enemy, allowing him to defeat most pirates who do not have rubber stomachs and the will to eat everything. While he eventually fell to Luffy, Cracker is anything but a pushover.
21. Nico Robin: 930,000,000 Berries
Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. Also known as the Light of the Revolution, Robin is the only person capable of deciphering the Poneglyphs. As such, she is quite possibly the biggest threat to the World Government in One Piece.
Robin is also an incredibly competent fighter. In Wano, she fought against Black Maria of the Beast Pirates and managed to defeat her. All her actions in the arc and her an incredibly high bounty of 930 million berries.
20. Charlotte Smoothie: 932,000,000 Berries
If the Whole Cake Island arc proves anything, it is that a Devil Fruit is only as useful as its owner is willing to make it. Charlotte Smoothie is another pirate who has an unusual ability, as the Shibo Shibo no Mi allows her to extract liquid from pretty much anything, be it inanimate objects, animals, or humans. Smoothie can then either drink this liquid or absorb it, the latter allowing her to grow to extraordinary sizes.
Smoothie’s cruel nature makes her especially dangerous since she will not hesitate to use somebody, even a lower-ranked member of the Big Mom Pirates, as a source for refreshments.
19. Jack The Drought: 1,000,000,000 Berries
A member of the Beasts Pirates and one of the Three Disasters, Jack the Drought is an immense presence. He commands fear and respect from pirates across the world. He is also one of the known Devil Fruit users, as Jack ingested the Zoan Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth Devil Fruit to attain the transformative powers of a giant mammoth that rampages across the battlefield.
While his regular size is equally large and frightening, Jack the Drought lacks the typical flashy or complicated powers that many other Devil Fruit users possess in the series. Instead, he opts for raw strength and power to terrify enemies.
18. Sanji: 1,032,000,000 Berries
Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and an incredibly competent fighter as well. After the events of the Whole Cake Island arc, Sanji received a bounty of 330 million berries. He then went on to take the central stage in the Raid of Onigashima on the performance floor. He defeated Queen the Plague of the Beast Pirates and this on them a bounty of 1.032 billion berries.
17. Charlotte Katakuri: 1,057,000,000 Berries
With the ability to turn his body into mochi, Charlotte Katakuri is the strongest member of the Big Mom Pirates besides his mother. Additionally, Katakuri can control all three forms of Haki. This makes him an even more imposing opponent against Marines and other pirate crews going up against the Charlotte family.
The Minister of Flour, many fans consider Katakuri one of the strongest opponents to directly face the Straw Hat Pirates thus far. Even Luffy had difficulty struggling against him.
16. Jinbe: 1,100,000,000 Berries
Jinbe joined the Straw Hat Pirates shortly before the Raid of Onigashima began. Having already made a great reputation for himself in the One Piece world, Jinbe had a bounty of 438 million berries before Wano.
During the war, he fought against Who’s Who, a member of the Tobiroppo, and defeated him with rather ease. Later on, he also put out a massive fire and, all things considered, he received a high bounty of 1.1 billion berries.
15. Roronoa Zoro: 1,111,000,000 Berries
Zoro is the combatant of the Straw Hat Pirates and prior to the Wano Country arc, he had a bounty of 320 million berries. Zoro fought against Kaido in the arc and managed to scar him permanently, which is an extremely impressive feat.
Later on, he fought King the Wildfire in one-on-one combat and managed to defeat him as well. For his actions, Zoro received a bounty of 1.111 billion berries.
14. Queen The Plague: 1,320,000,000 Berries
Despite the World Government placing Queen The Plague high on their list of wanted pirates, the show hasn’t displayed much of his fighting ability. Much of the interaction on the show so far was from Luffy resisting the Conqueror’s Haki from Queen. This is a powerful feat, considering the amount of will necessary to manifest Haki.
Queen The Plague also faced off against Big Mom in Udon Prison. He did manage to land a hit on her but didn’t inflict much more damage than that.
13. Marco: 1,374,000,000 Berries
Once upon a time, Marco stood by Whitebeard’s side, serving as the legendary Emperor’s greatest commander. Since the Marineford Arc, Marco’s role has evolved, and the character eventually opted to move away from the pirate life to become a doctor. While things might change, Marco’s bounty is still among the highest in the series.
As the owner of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix Devil Fruit, Marco can turn into blue flames and become a phoenix. It is a sight to behold, permitting someone does not have to actually face off against this terrifying opponent.
12. King The Conflagration: 1,390,000,000 Berries
The Beasts Pirates are absolute powerhouses, and they need to be to co-exist with the crew’s captain, Kaido. She serves as the captain of the Kuja Pirates and is the leader of the Kuja tribe as well. Being a leader of the Kuja, Hancock has incredibly amazing Haki control. She is a user of all forms of Haki and, at the same time, is also an exceptional Devil Fruit user. Her fruit abilities are such that Blackbeard himself sought them out recently.
After the dissolution of the Warlords system, Hancock was given a new bounty and this figure amounts to 1.659 billion berries. Hancock has not been tested in battle in quite a long time and if anything, this figure might just be an underestimation of how truly dangerous she is. Nonetheless, her bounty is extremely impressive.
10. Sir Crocodile: 1,965,000,000 Berries
Sir Crocodile is a former Warlord of the Sea and an incredibly powerful pirate with cunning guile. He served as the primary antagonist for the Alabasta arc before the 2-year time skip. Towards the end of the Wano Country arc, it was revealed that Crocodile had created a new organization called the Cross Guild.
As one of its most powerful members, he acquired an incredibly high bounty of 1.965 billion berries. Although he is perceived to be an underling of Buggy, Crocodile is the mastermind behind this organization.
9. Luffy/Law/Kid: 3,000,000,000 Berries
Luffy, Law, and Kid are three of the most important Worst Generation members in the Wano Country arc. They led the Raid on Onigashima and took on two of the Four Emperors of the Sea in Kaido and Big Mom by themselves. While Law and Kid combined forces to defeat Big Mom in a hard-fought battle that required both of them to awaken their Devil Fruits, Luffy single-handedly took down Kaido.
To do this, he had to advance all his hockey forms to incredible levels and, after that, awaken the true powers of the Nika fruit. As such, they announced their arrival on the big stage in the most incredible fashion. For their actions, Luffy, Law, and Kid all ended up receiving a 3 billion berry bounty each.
8. Buggy: 3,189,000,000 Berries
Buggy is one of the current Four Emperors of the Sea and has somehow managed to fluke his way to this position. He is currently perceived to be the leader of the Cross Guild, an organization that sees Mihawk and Crocodile work under him.
Buggy is not especially powerful, however, he does have a great pedigree. He has made a great name for himself in the One Piece world and his connections are certainly something to take notice of.
7. Dracule Mihawk: 3,590,000,000 Berries
Mihawk is the World’s Strongest Swordsman in One Piece and a character known for his tremendous power. In the past, he was a rival to Red-Haired Shanks and he also served as a member of the Shichibukai until recently.
Mihawk possesses an incredibly high bounty of 3.590 billion berries, mainly due to his status as the World’s Strongest Swordsman but also because he is a member of a Marine hunting organization called the Cross Guild.
6. Blackbeard: 3,996,000,000 Berries
Blackbeard is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea who rose to this position at some point during the two-year timeskip. This happened specifically after the Rocky Port Incident concluded. Until recently, Blackbeard’s bounty was known to be 2.246 billion berries. However, ever since then, he has slowly been consolidating himself as a major power in the New World.
Even among the Yonko, Blackbeard is someone who is feared due to his dark aura. Furthermore, even though he is a Yonko, his ambition doesn’t end there. Blackbeard is continually growing stronger and still hunting for Devil Fruits. He is a bigger threat to the World Government than the vast majority of the pirates. As such, his bounty has now risen to 3.996 billion berries, which is only second to Shanks when it comes to the active bounties in the world of One Piece at the moment.
5. Shanks: 4,048,900,000 Berries
Shanks has earned his place as one of the most prevalent pirates in the show. He often interacts with Luffy, helping him with his endeavors.
The leader of the Red-Hair Pirates, Shanks commands one of the four Yonko crews that ultimately rule over the New World. He rose to this title years before the events of the show take place. Being one of the Four Emperors has earned him a lofty place in pirate society, and Shanks has wasted no time in catching up to the other Emperors in terms of bounty value.
4. Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin): 4,388,000,000 Berries
Despite her affectionate nickname, Charlotte Linlin is the most ferocious and formidable female pirate in the world. Ruling over a country called Totland, she is far more restrained in using her power compared to the other Emperors. She has acquired a huge bounty despite her hesitancy to be barbaric or crude. Instead, the leader of the Big Mom Pirates runs an entire country, commanding respect from her family and crew alike.
However, Big Mom’s current bounty isn’t surprising considering her history. When first starting out, this Yonko managed to quickly rack up a 500 million berry bounty. After this relative success and acknowledgment from the World Government, she then went on to join the Rocks Pirates alongside Kaido and Whitebeard.
3. Kaido: 4,6111,100,000 Berries
Kaido has earned a top spot in the Marine bounty list, as well as in the world of pirates. Not only is he the Leader of the Beast Pirates, but he’s in control of the Three Disasters. Kaido’s crew is composed solely of Zoan Devil Fruit users who, like the same suggests, turn into massive beasts.
Despite being extraordinarily powerful, this Yonko has admitted defeat 7 times and been captured and tortured on 18 separate occasions. Yet, he’s managed not to die in any of these encounters with his enemies. He boasts a record of being nearly indestructible due to his abilities and overall strength.
2. Whitebeard: 5,046,000,000 Berries
The strongest man in the world of One Piece, Edward Newgate is a staple presence in the series and the only one to match the previous King of the Pirates in battle. At the time of his death, Whitebeard had been called the King of Seas and has one of the most illustrious records for pirates in history.
He was also a member of the Rocks Pirates before starting his own crew, the Whitebeard Pirates. As the only person to match Gol D. Rodger in battle, Whitebeard gained a reputation of immense strength and the respect of pirate crews across the world, maintaining a sort of hierarchy among the Yonko.
1. Gol D. Rodger: 5,564,800,000 Berries
It isn’t surprising that the highest bounty belongs to the King of Pirates himself, Gol D. Rodger. After taking his crew to sail to Raftel and discover the secrets of the One Piece treasure as well as the Void Century, Rodger cemented himself as the largest threat and most successful pirate that the World Government ever faced.
While his power is considered equal to that of Whitebeard, Rodger accumulated a higher bounty because he found the One Piece. Not to mention, his daring acts of exploration only pushed the number higher.
